The 5th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as “CIIE”) kicked off in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th as scheduled. Under the capable leadership of SINOMACH, SUMEC, as a buyer who has participated in the CIIE for four consecutive sessions, will attend the 5th CIIE as promised. Having undergone five years of development, CIIE has become an important platform for the world to share in China's development opportunities and a splendid stage for both China and the world to make common progress. On the occasion of the 5th CIIE, SUMEC integrates its multiple identities as “inviter of exhibitors, buyer, service provider, and exhibition organizer" for the first time to deeply participate in the CIIE. “e-CIIE”made its debut
As a major highlight of the 5th CIIE, the "e-CIIE" platform which was launched by China International Import Expo Bureau with the assistance of SINOMACH is the first attempt to use a digital platform to hold a business exhibition at CIIE. The "e-CIIE" platform focuses on the business exhibition area of “Intelligent Industry & Information Technology” and has four major functions, namely: cloud showroom, cloud news release, cloud live streaming, and cloud matchmaking. As at now, more than 300 enterprises have participated in the online exhibition, which operates at the same frequency and quality as the offline exhibition.
Initial Offline Group Exhibition
WIN FAITH TRADING LIMITED, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SUMEC in Hong Kong, participated in this year’s CIIE as an exhibition organizer for the first time. It set up a joint exhibition area of 700 square meters in the “Intelligent Industry & Information Technology” exhibition area. Relying on the global equipment trading service platform of "SUMEC TOUCH WORLD", it has successfully attracted 28 international first-class equipment manufacturers from 14 countries and regions, such as Italy, Spain and Japan to participate in the CIIE as an exhibitor group. Their exhibition focuses on the theme of "green development and a better life", covering "hard core" technologies and equipment in a number of segments, such as textiles, machining, light industry.

Among them, five brands, including: CKD, a well-known Japanese automated machinery and equipment manufacturer; Kornit Digital, a well-known Israeli manufacturer of industrial digital printing technology; Anisoprint, a Luxembourg-based continuous fiber 3D printing brand; Tecnatom, a well-known Spanish supplier of inspection equipment; and Tomra, a leading global supplier of collection and sorting solutions, also displayed new products that made their debut in China and Asia.
