The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development has entered its second decade, and the three regions have formed a mature model of "Beijing for R&D, Tianjin for transformation, and Hebei for manufacturing" through deep linkages across industrial chains, supply chains, and innovation chains. At the 2025 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Industrial Chain and Supply Chain Matching Event, the three regions not only addressed 37 bottlenecks across six key chains but also established an advanced manufacturing cluster alliance to promote precise resource matching. Benefiting from the "one-hour parts supply circle," the R&D cycle of BAIC Foton's heavy truck factory was shortened by 30%; the computing power services of the Hebei Artificial Intelligence Computing Center are directly accessible nationwide, and the "Tianyou Large Model" developed in collaboration with universities has successfully empowered the rail transit sector, continuously releasing the scale effect of regional collaboration.

The booming development of the new energy industry is injecting green momentum into advanced manufacturing. The new energy vehicle industry has achieved a leap from technology follower to leader, forming technological advantages in core areas such as batteries, motors, and electronic control systems, while further expanding its market influence through global production capacity layout. The photovoltaic and energy storage industries, with their mature technological systems and complete industrial chains, occupy a significant position in the global market.  They have not only promoted the popularization of clean energy but also driven the upgrading of supporting manufacturing industries such as photovoltaic modules and energy storage batteries. The green materials industry has risen simultaneously, with a continuous emergence of products such as bio-based chemical fibers and high-performance environmentally friendly materials. These products meet the needs of lightweight and high-durability new energy equipment and also help traditional manufacturing industries achieve green transformation. The systematic construction of pilot-scale testing platforms has further opened up the conversion channel for new energy technologies from the laboratory to industrialization, accelerating the implementation of innovative achievements.

The intelligent transformation and digital upgrading of traditional manufacturing industries, coupled with the forward-looking layout of emerging industries, have jointly enriched the development landscape of advanced manufacturing. In terms of traditional industry transformation, industries such as steel and chemicals have achieved quality improvement and cost reduction through intelligent transformation, while the advanced materials field has broken through resource constraints and developed a variety of high-performance products, widely used in high-end equipment manufacturing. Emerging industry sectors are expanding rapidly; intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles have penetrated into multiple fields such as agriculture, logistics, and emergency rescue, forming diversified application scenarios; and the biopharmaceutical industry focuses on cutting-edge areas such as antibody drugs and gene therapy, promoting the upgrading of medical equipment and the health industry. At the policy level, by improving innovation support mechanisms and focusing on major original innovations, institutional guarantees are provided for technological breakthroughs in various industries, promoting the deep integration of the innovation chain and the industrial chain.

The vigorous development of advanced manufacturing is a vivid manifestation of the coordinated upgrading and innovation-driven development of various industries. From the core breakthroughs in equipment manufacturing to the intelligent iteration of electronic information, from the green transformation of new energy to the forward-looking layout of emerging industries, China's advanced manufacturing is continuously strengthening its development foundation. In the future, with the continuous improvement of regional collaborative networks and the steady enhancement of innovation capabilities, various industries will further integrate deeply and work together, enabling advanced manufacturing to occupy a more favorable position in the global industrial division of labor and injecting continuous momentum into high-quality economic development.
