Newly signed! The 9th Arvedi ESP production line in China!

Recently, SUMEC International Technology Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as SUMEC-ITC), which belongs to SUMEC Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as SUMEC), and Hebei Zhongshou Special Steel Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhongshou Special Steel) successfully signed the Arvedi ESP production line equipment import project to help promote the green transformation and development of steel production.

The Arvedi ESP production line introduced by the SUMEC-ITC for Zhongshou Special Steel will be the 9th such production line in China and the 12th in the world. It has advanced headless strip production technology and carbon-neutral thin slab continuous casting and rolling technology. It can produce high-quality hot-rolled coils in a headless mode, achieving the advantages of zero fossil fuel consumption and zero carbon dioxide emissions in the production process, effectively meeting the production and quality requirements of high-demand steel grades. It realizes transformation and upgrades from traditional production routes to hot-rolled strip green production lines, which helps promote the transformation and development of steel production enterprises towards green, energy-saving and high-efficiency. It is planned to be fully put into production by the end of 2025.
