Recently, SUMEC Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. (Sumec) successfully won the bid for two overseas backup power supply projects, achieving new results in exploring overseas markets.

1. World Bank Microgrid Backup Power Project in Ethiopia

SUMEC Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd., together with domestic general contractors, has fully utilized the abundant solar energy resources to design an integrated photovoltaic, diesel and energy storage solution for the project based on the geographical conditions and project design requirements of the project location. The solution consists of emergency diesel generator sets, photovoltaic power generation systems, energy storage systems, fire protection systems, remote control communication systems and life service facilities. Through multi-energy complementarity and intelligent control, the microgrid system can achieve effective allocation and intelligent switching of multiple energy sources, which plays a good role in improving power utilization and ensuring power reliability. SUMEC Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. customized over 30 FIRMAN diesel generator sets for the initial phase of the project. After the project is completed, it will effectively solve the electricity problems of local residents and promote regional economic development.

2. An emergency power supply project in Tanzania

Located in one of the key promotion areas for Africa's 'three networks and one transformation' initiative, this project also embodies the national 'Belt and Road' strategy. SUMEC Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. has in-depth communication with customers and conducted field visits many times, and selected the safer, quieter and more environmentally friendly self-branded FIRMAN "Bumblebee" series silent diesel generator sets. This series of units has lower noise and lower emissions. Its unique box design can effectively resist wind and sand and rain erosion, better adapt to the local hot and humid climate conditions, and meet the customer's project site use needs.
