SINOMACH Party Secretary and Chairman Zhang Xiaolun Inspected SUMEC

On April 15, Zhang Xiaolun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of SINOMACH, led a team to inspect SUMEC Co., Ltd. The inspection aimed to supervise the implementation of the study and education campaign on establishing and practicing a correct attitude towards work performance, investigate the formulation of the company’s 15th Five-Year Plan and its business operations, and listen to opinions and suggestions from grassroots employees. Yang Yongqing, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of SUMEC, Wang Jian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, Xin Zhonghua and He Jun, both members of the Party Committee and Deputy General Managers, and Liu Kai, Assistant General Manager, attended the inspection.

Zhang Xiaolun emphasized the need to uphold high-quality Party building to guide high-quality development. He stressed that the earnest implementation of the study and education campaign on establishing and practicing a correct attitude towards work performance should be regarded as a key political task. Responsibilities must be fully enforced, and in-depth understanding of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on this topic is essential. Efforts should be made to integrate study, inspection, and rectification, effectively translating the outcomes of the campaign into a powerful driving force and practical actions for promoting the company’s high-quality development. It is crucial to maintain a down-to-earth work ethic and a sound and upright development environment.

Zhang Xiaolun required that we should thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the work of central state-owned enterprises, focus on our core responsibilities and main business, earnestly fulfill the duties and missions of central state-owned enterprises, formulate and implement the 15th Five-Year Development Plan with high quality, seize major development opportunities, continuously pursue high-level self-reliance and strength in science and technology, foster and strengthen new quality productive forces, promote the high-quality development of international operations, steadily advance digital and intelligent development, strive to strengthen corporate culture development, further enhance risk prevention and control, and continuously reinforce core functions and improve core competitiveness.

Zhang Xiaolun stressed that this year marks the starting year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. The company must earnestly implement the arrangements of the Group’s key meetings, fully advance the implementation of key tasks, ensure safe production, consolidate and improve the momentum of innovation-driven, high-quality development, strive to achieve the "first-half-year targets," and ensure a solid start for the 15th Five-Year Plan.

Yang Yongqing delivered a special report on the company’s business development, strategic thinking, and key tasks for the next stage. He stated that under the correct leadership of SINOMACH, SUMEC actively aligns with national strategies, continuously optimizes its business structure, improves operational efficiency, and drives high-quality development. For the 15th Five-Year Plan period, SUMEC will adhere to SINOMACH’s strategic positioning, focus on core businesses, highlight functional missions, continue to leverage its role as an international operation and "going global" platform, accelerate the upgrading of key business segments, and contribute more to SINOMACH’s goal of becoming a world-leading machinery industry enterprise and a main force in advancing new industrialization.
